A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled 3D Drafter to join their engineering team in Salisbury, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with Solid Works experience to work on custom mechanical systems projects in a stable, Monday-Friday position.

You’ll be creating critical 3D shop fabrication drawings that directly support the manufacturing of precision-engineered products, working closely with engineers in a collaborative environment. • High school diploma
• Solid Works experience (required)
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and reliable attendance

• AutoCAD experience
• Additional training/certifications in drafting or related field
• Experience with custom fabrication or manufacturing drawings
• Experience in mechanical systems industry

Tech Breakdown

• 70% Solid Works 3D Modeling
• 20% AutoCAD (if applicable)
• 10% Microsoft Office Documentation

Daily Responsibilities

• 60% Creating detailed 3D shop fabrication drawings for custom products
• 20% Collaborating with engineers and team members to refine and validate designs
• 15% Quality checks and ensuring drawings meet industry standards
• 5% Project timeline management and documentation
