Clinician - BH Advanced

The Behavioral Health Advanced Clinician is responsible for providing clinical assessments and evaluation of patients presenting in psychiatric crisis. The clinical assessment will include psychiatric history, mental status and recommendation for need. The clinician will provide clinical diagnosis while collaborating with psychiatrist/psychiatric nurse practitioner to define the course of care to meets the patient’s needs. The clinician’s essential function will include ensuring clinical soundness of crisis services through evaluation of need, conditioned monitoring of care and crisis services and connection to appropriate community resources as appropriate.

• Provide clinical assessments and evaluations of patients presenting in psychiatric crisis.
• Include psychiatric history, mental status, and recommendations for care needs.
• Provide clinical diagnoses in collaboration with a psychiatrist/psychiatric nurse practitioner to define the course of care to meet the patient’s needs.
• Ensure clinical soundness of crisis services through evaluation of need, monitoring of care, crisis services, and connection to appropriate community resources as appropriate.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required or Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field.
• 5-7 years post-graduate work-related experience preferred.
• 1-2 years in crisis assessment and evaluation preferred.
• LCSW-C or LCPC required.

• Full-time day and night positions available.
• Ability to have a set schedule available.
• Ability to work weekends preferred.

Salary range: $31.16 - $48.30 Commensurate with experience
