"Crab Bleeder" assignment will run from end of May to end of November.

Positions available for handling and collecting blood from horseshoe crabs, and processing the blood in a laboratory setting. Selected workers will be trained on SOPs, cGMPs, aseptic processing, and disinfecting techniques.

The work schedule is Mon-Fri, starting at 5:30 AM until completion, usually between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Employees will work 4 out of 5 days.

• 1-2 years of experience in a production environment or HS diploma.
• Ability to follow written procedures thoroughly.
• Organization, time management, and excellent attendance.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Teamwork and willingness to collaborate.
• Computer skills.

• Varies from laboratory to crab holding areas.
• Some overtime may be required.
• Long periods of standing, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), repetitive motions, and chemical hazards.
• Daily cleaning with disinfectants; individuals with sensitivities should consider suitability.
