Base pay range: $18.58/hr - $27.87/hr salary commensurate with experience.

The Patient Account Coordinator coordinates, bills, collects, and resolves accounts for assigned hospital/facility receivables to maintain positive cash flow, reduce A/R days, and comply with federal and facility policy.

• Education:
  
  High School graduate or equivalent required; advanced courses in computer, office or public relations preferred; CRCS-I preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum two years as a patient account representative handling claim resolution, billing, follow-up, payer disputes and appeals. Medicare coordinator must have 2+ years and familiarity with CMS sites (Novistasphere, FISS). Speed and accuracy with keyboard/computer; customer service experience preferred. Six months on-the-job training required. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, billing requirements, HIPAA, state/federal collection laws, and payer contracts.

• Full‑time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part‑time employees 36 hours per pay period, or part‑time weekend‑only employees 30+ hours are eligible.
