SummaryThe Network Engineer II is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's enterprise network infrastructure. This mid‑level role requires a solid understanding of networking principles, hands‑on experience with network hardware and software, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. The Network Engineer II works closely with senior engineers, IT operations, and security teams to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and security.
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

This is an onsite role at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices.
Principal AndEssential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support network‑related projects and initiatives.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.
- Perform network capacity planning and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Provide Tier II/III support for escalated network issues.
- Work together with Operational Technology teams to implement OT equipment into a segmented fashion to ensure operational success.
- Bachelor’s degree with preferred emphasis in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- 5+ years in managing and deploying network devices (Routers, Switches, Load balancers, Access Points, Wireless Controllers)
- Advanced network problem solving and troubleshooting skills including running wire captures to determine where a problem may exist.
- Experience with network segmentation for the purpose of reducing risk to critical processes on a network.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management Experience
- Network Certifications (CCNA or CCNP) or other equivalent network certifications
- Managing all types of network transport including: MPLS, Ethernet, Broadband, T1’s, LTE, and Satellite.
- Operation Technology network background and familiar with Purdue model for ICs
Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open‑partitioned, cubicle environment.
- Some work may need to be completed on‑site at one of our locations, which could be a in a wet/damp climate.
- The position normally has a set schedule of Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm, but at times will require after hours and/or weekend time for planned changes and outages that arise.
