**** Job Summary
** Operates emergency telephones and dispatches calls to police officers via two-way radios.  Monitors alarm and security systems and closed-circuit TV.  Maintains radio, key and alarm logs: records call by entering data into an automated records management system  
** Authority and Accountability
** Supervisor – Tammy Palmer This position is non-supervisory  
** Required/Minimum Qualifications
** High school diploma or G.E.D., 2 years clerical or other related experience, basic computer and keyboarding skills, effective communication skills both orally and written, capability to prioritize, summarize and relay information orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions; to write legibly; to monitor multiple radio frequencies.  
** Preferred Qualifications
** Police/emergency communications experience, Meters/NCIC certification
** Additional Job Information:
** The position is a Contingent II, full-time, non-exempt position.
