Second Production Associate-Processing SR. Lead (Dayshift)

Perdue Farms invites qualified candidates to join our team in the Second Production Associate role. As a key leader on the production line, you will oversee multiple poultry processing stations, ensuring products meet quality standards, safety requirements, and production goals.

• Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions, and follow Lockout‑Tagout and Process Safety Management procedures.
• Ensure product quality meets QA and USDA specifications.
• Maintain equipment operation and troubleshoot issues to keep production running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 6 months continuous work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
• Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment (preferred).

• Exposure to wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• Temperature ranges of 28°F to 100°F with high humidity.
• Handling of products from 25°F to 50°F.
• Noise levels between 50 dB and 110 dB.
• Potential exposure to dust, feathers, and poultry processing chemicals.
• Must wear and use protective equipment as directed.
• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine (≤20 ppm).
• Ability to stand for several hours and lift up to 50 lb, reach, bend, and push conveyor boxes.

• Base rate of $20.50 per hour with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials, and overtime.

• Variable annual bonus based on performance.
