We are recruiting for a Mirco Health Services Tech 4 to provide sample tracking, preparation and cataloging of samples as well as performing quantitative and qualitative microbiological test procedures.
This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00pm. Rotational weekend work.
This position has a target wage of $27.60 - $41.40 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequired:
B.S. in biology, microbiology or related science field and/or a minimum of 3 years experience in a microbiology laboratory with an emphasis in bacteriology is strongly recommended:
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
- Experience with Microsoft word programs
- Highly motivated and dependable with a positive attitude
- Able to work well with other
- Able to perform assays and record results with exceptional accuracy and precision
- Be well organized
- Good communication, computer, science and math skills
Preferred:
Experience in poultry bacteriology preferred
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements- Must work indoors and outdoors under a variety of environmental conditions.
- Must work with infectious agents, gases, detergents, and chemicals
