DescriptionReports to:
Facilities Supervisor, On‑Site Foreman, or Shipyard Superintendent.
Major responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while supporting the overall project.
Essential Functions/Tasks- Clean and prepare construction sites, vessels, and buildings.
- Load and unload furniture and material on vessels when assigned.
- Maintain clear and clean facilities.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and on‑site contractors as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans.
- Prepare outdoor areas for various weather conditions (snow/debris removal, ice melt).
- Complete a wide variety of general labor tasks.
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
- Competitive pay – $16.00 an hour.
- Single & family medical, dental, vision (full‑time employees eligible for benefits from the 1st of the month following the start date).
- $20,000 AD&D life insurance and short‑term disability at no cost for full‑time employees.
- $1,000 signing bonus for full‑time positions, paid in two increments after 60 and 180 days of continuous employment.
- Referral program paying $500 for each referred employee hired.
- 401(k) with company match after 1 year.
- Six paid company holidays.
- Paid sick and vacation:
New employees receive 40 hours of sick and 40 hours of vacation after 90 days. Combined sick and vacation of 96 hours at year 1, 144 hours at year 5, 168 hours at year 10. - Health savings account.

RequirementsPhysical requirements
- Regularly required to walk; frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, or crawl at various heights and in confined spaces.
- Occasionally required to sit; required to reach with hands and arms, use hands to feel, grip or handle.
- Regularly required to safely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Required use of vision to see up close, distance, and peripherally, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus in low light conditions.
Mental requirements
- Normal level of visual acuity needed.
- Must be able to understand and follow directions.
- Normal hearing level needed.
- Hand‑eye coordination required.
Hazards include weather, fumes, moving mechanical parts, equipment, and vibration.
