Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician in Salisbury, Maryland. Habitat America is a third‑party property management company largely based in the Mid‑Atlantic region.

Applicants who are qualified for this position have 2+ years prior apartment maintenance experience. Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting is needed. HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus! It is imperative that the Maintenance Technician be able to work independently and also as a member of a team.

• Responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance.
• Manage technical maintenance tickets and assist with unit turnovers.
• Participate in the after‑hours on‑call rotation.
• Report directly to the Community Manager.

• Energetic, self‑motivated individual who can work as a team.
• Prior experience with apartment maintenance: appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting.
• HVAC/CFC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand and oversee work performed by contractors.
• Professional demeanor at all times.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
• Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition.
• Willingness to work weekends and be part of an on‑call rotation.
