• Develop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles
• Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences
• Participate in all team agile ceremonies and ensure commitments are delivered on time and with high quality
• Actively advocate for the mobile platform through internal and external developer communities
• Remain an active learner in technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift 3rd party libraries, etc.)
• Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback from the broader team
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members
• Engage with developers outside the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)
• Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with Senior Engineers and Architects
• Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams
• Identify technical obstacles early and work with the team to find creative solutions
• Review pull requests and ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 2 years of experience building Android applications
• At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin
• 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 1+ years of experience with Agile practices

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000 for Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
