Work Order and Material Coordinator

Choptank Electric is searching for a Work Order and Material Coordinator to work out of our Regional Service Center located in Salisbury, MD. Prospective applicants must have their Maryland Class "A" Restricted license or an equivalent license from another state, as this position requires occasional jockeying of trucks and trailers and assists with material delivery to local job sights. This position also involves daily computer work and data entry.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable. Warehousing experience and handling of materials is also highly desirable, as this position helps to maintain our warehouse, tool room, and inventory yard while disbursing and receiving materials used at the Cooperative. Various software applications will be used to maintain accurate records of inventory, etc.

• Assist with material delivery to local job sights, jockeying trucks and trailers.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory using various software applications.
• Disburse and receive materials used at the Cooperative, maintaining warehouse, tool room, and inventory yard.
• Perform daily computer work and data entry.

• Maryland Class "A" Restricted license or equivalent from another state.
• Proficient on computer; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
• Warehousing experience and handling of materials highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work indoors and outdoors.

The pay for this position is $35.85/hour, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Choptank offers excellent benefits, including a 401k plan, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, etc.
