Merchandising Marketing Support
Responsible for overseeing center store cross-brand meetings and managing outcomes to completion. This includes planning, organizing, and coordinating to ensure milestones and outcomes are delivered. The role requires leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with teams across the organization. Responsible for all aspects of Center Store Sourcing analytics and financial insights for assigned categories with support from the Brands Analytics team.
Drive identification of opportunities related to key KPIs (S4OC, Trade Rates, and Trade Dollars) with cross‑brand partners. Support key business initiatives such as cost negotiations, RFPs, value capture, and evolution of negotiation processes with tools and processes designed to deliver targeted financial results.
- Project Planning:
Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. - Project Management:
Oversee and manage deliverable timelines for key projects (e.g., Omni Reviews, CPN, scaled activities), ensuring financial expectations are met. - Strategic Planning:
Enable the strategic direction of the assigned HUB by driving collaboration across all five category managers to maximize size and scale efforts. - Performance Excellence:
Deliver consistent, high‑quality work across the assigned HUB, driving analytical excellence and problem‑solving. - Trusted Thought Partner:
Serve as a peer to CM teams, facilitating cross‑brand workshops and acting as a subject‑matter expert for assigned categories and key vendors. - Insightful Negotiation Themes:
Synthesize data in Fact Packs/Omni Decks to provide insights and advanced analytical support to category teams. - Sharing Best Practices:
Train and onboard new associates, transferring knowledge and expertise to other team members. - System Expertise:
Leverage systems (DSS, Power
BI, Circana, etc.) to identify opportunities and insights for financial results. - Process Improvement:
Refine Ways of Working to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team and the broader sourcing organization. - Personal Development & Continuous Learning:
Maintain an Individual Development Plan and participate in training opportunities as required. - Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business needs and values.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, sourcing, negotiating, category, or vendor management.
- Mastery of financial components of sourcing (e.g., P&L implications).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience leading sourcing and negotiation initiatives while managing projects and facilitating change management.
- Presentation skills (both developing and delivering).
- Demonstrated facilitation skills over multiple media types (video conferences, Teams, Skype, conference calls, in‑person meetings) with groups of varying size.
- Conflict management skills and general industry and supplier knowledge.
Flexible/hybrid schedule: 3 in‑person days at one of our core locations (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME; Hyattsville, MD) and 2 remote days.
Salary RangeME/NC/PA/SC: $92,640 – $138,960
IL/MA/MD/NY: $106,480 – $159,720
Salary offered may vary based on qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will align with company policies and applicable laws.
