Join our team at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center as an Inpatient Psychiatrist.

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking an inpatient psychiatrist to join our team. The primary position will be on the inpatient unit with periodic floating to the medical units and emergency department in a Consult Liaison capacity.

• Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our 40‑bed adult unit
• 7 on/7 off schedule
• Psychiatrists will have access to a full spectrum of care options for individuals with treatment‑resistant mood and psychotic disorders ranging from child/adolescent to geriatric age groups

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Psychiatry

• Patient population: 18+ for acute care, with inclusion of geriatric psychiatry
• Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
• Call rotation
