Technical Manager

Lead technical projects in our silicones business. This role requires a detail-oriented, hands‑on individual who organizes lab activities, solves complex problems, and prioritizes multiple projects while maintaining focus.

• Provide technical and regulatory support to customers, answering product and application questions.
• Develop and test new silicone formulations in the lab to meet customer and market requirements.
• Research new raw materials and technologies to support innovation.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, and production teams on product development projects.
• Author and maintain technical documentation (e.g., Technical Data Sheets, Technical Bulletins).
• Contribute to patent applications for new products and technologies.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and key suppliers.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts, adapting formulations as needed for new regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in silicone formulation and applications, preferably in personal care products (hair serums, sprays, skin care emulsions).
• Strong understanding of formulations, performance testing, and stability.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
• Formulation experience, silicone chemistry expertise, and technical communication skills.
