Our residential programs provide a supportive, structured environment for individuals with mental health or co‑occurring disorders. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential Care Specialist to join our group home team.

Job Summary:

The Residential Site Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment within the group home. This individual provides direct care and support to residents, assists with daily living activities, monitors behavior, and ensures the facility operates smoothly. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, consistency, and a passion for helping others succeed in a residential setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and support to residents in the group home
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and medication reminders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
  • Monitor residents’ behavior and document any incidents, concerns, or progress
  • Support the implementation of individualized service or behavior plans
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clinical staff
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations, following agency protocols
  • Transport residents to appointments, activities, or community outings as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a group home, residential, or behavioral health setting
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to behavioral challenges appropriately
  • Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to resident care
