As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals.
Position Details- Full time, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
- Location:
Lexington, NC (High Rock Lake area) - Compensation: $15.00 per hour
- Competitive salary: $18.00 per hour
- Provide care in the individual's home and the community they live in
- Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment support
- Transport the client to appointments and run errands
- Help plan and organize their schedule
- Maintain daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health record system

- Paid training: CPR/first‑aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, and Seizure Management

- Experience:
entry‑level; on‑the‑job training is provided - Education:
high school diploma or GED (required) - Knowledge: basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols

interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and dependability are essential - Technology: proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn
- Transportation: reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
