• Orientation: 40–80 hrs (starts on unit before Dimensions training)

• Call Requirement:
- Weekdays: 16:00–07:30 next morning
- Weekends:
Friday 16:00 – Monday 07:30
- 2 weekday calls every 2 weeks + 1 weekend call per month
- Callback: 30 mins for STEMI (IR callback varies by procedure)

• Weekend Requirement:
Every 3rd weekend

Requirements

•

Experience:

2+ years IR/Cath Lab (must have IR – 90% of caseload)

• Traveler Status:
Prior travel experience required

•

Certifications:

ARRT or RCIS required + ACLS & BLS | Advanced ARRT, RCES, RCIS preferred

•

Skills Required:

- Scrub & circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures
- Telemetry
- Assist providers with diagnostic & interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
- Device implants (PPM, ICD)
- EKG lead placement (preferred)
Patient Population & Unit Info

• Ages:
Adults & Geriatrics

• Procedures: IR (angioplasty, stents, embolizations, nephrostomy, kyphoplasty, drainages, biopsies, TIPS, venous closures, ablations, device implants) + Cardiology/EP

• Environment:
Combo IR/Cardiology Lab (~90% IR, ~10% other)

• Team: 3 staff members on call team (1 must be RN)

• Special Equipment: GE Mac Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Impella, IABP, ultrasound (Sono Site, S2000), ablation units, venous closure systems
Compliance & Other Details RTO:
No RTO allowed after booking | No holiday RTO | Must work 2 of 3 major holidays COVID-19:

Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) License: NC or Compact (active or pending at submission; must be in hand by start) Submission Notes:
No prior Novant or New Hanover perm/PRN staff within past 12 months Must disclose prior work at submission for rehire approval
