>A Delhaize USA, a division of global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, supports five leading omnichannel grocery brands. The Solutions Delivery Analyst V role is the lead technical subject matter expert for assigned systems, services, or applications and will drive mid to large‐size IT initiatives, provide third‑level production support, and recommend operational improvements.
Work Schedule: 3 in‑person days at a core location (Quincy, MA; Salisbury, NC; Mauldin, SC) and 2 remote days.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead technical SME for systems, services, and applications across a functional area.
- Coaching and mentoring of functional area members to deepen technical knowledge.
- Lead large‑scale projects, including resource management, budget oversight, and collaboration with PMO.
- Oversee lower level Solution Delivery Analysts, assign work, track progress, and adjust delivery objectives.
- Partner with IT Sourcing and Solution Delivery Managers on contracts and Statements of Work within the Bill of Authority.
- Translate business needs into agile stories or waterfall requirements, ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers on technical specifications, test case design, and system integration testing.
- Provide third‑level technical support and manage supplier performance to meet service level expectations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend continuous performance improvements for systems, including supplier‑delivered solutions.
- Drive end‑to‑end proactive improvement through monitoring tools integration and reporting on service availability.
- Ensure operational stability of a 24/7/365 grocery retail environment, including off‑hour, weekend, and holiday support as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of equivalent experience in technology or related domain.
- 5+ years of advanced technical leadership, including direct or indirect team management.
- 5+ years of experience guiding, training, or onboarding team members in relevant technologies.
- Mastery of professional concepts and functional expertise.
- Independent execution of mid to large projects with minimal direction.
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem resolution.
- Dedication to quality work and traceability of issues to source.
- Judgment within defined procedures and practices for appropriate action.
- Master's Degree or additional certifications in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile teams and Product/Platform operating model.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams or advancing technical capability.
- Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
Salary Range: $108,880 - $163,320 (ME/NC/PA/SC); $125,200 - $187,800 (IL/MA/MD/NY). Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
