Analyst IT Vendor Financial Management – Ahold Delhaize USA

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of the global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, seeks an Analyst to support IT supplier spend (~$600M annually). The role resides within the Office of the CIO, managing relationships and financial operations related to IT vendors.

Office:
Salisbury, NC (primary location) with a hybrid schedule of 3 in‑person days and 2 remote days.

• Support the IT Leadership Team (ITLT) and OCIO Leadership in developing and executing the RBS IT sourcing strategy and other VMO initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global IT Sourcing, Vendor Management, and Finance to align on best practices and process enhancements.
• Guide IT teams to ensure vendors are effectively managed, contracts are leveraged, and financial goals are met.
• Provide IT spend analysis and benchmarking to ITLT and other stakeholders.
• Identify and develop financial objectives based on spend analysis.
• Track initiatives to achieve defined financial goals and collaborate with broader IT stakeholders.
• Validate supplier billing, resolve escalations, secure service level credits, and realize cost reductions.
• Conduct vendor invoice and financial audits to ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and large vendor contract finance activities.
• Assist in major RFP/RFI support by developing business cases and reviewing commercial arrangements.
• Respond to data requests related to supplier spend analytics and support related queries from the RBS IT organization.
• Enhance existing tools, reporting templates, and dashboards.
• Maintain cadence for financial planning and operational activities, including spend analysis, audits, and benchmarking.

• 3+ years in IT sourcing and/or IT finance.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to deliver multi‑mode communications that convey clear understanding of unique audience needs.
• Experience building partnerships and working collaboratively to meet shared objectives.

• Data analysis and reporting expertise.
• Knowledge of GAAP, standards, and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Query, and MS Power BI.
• Experience analyzing large data sets to establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and initiative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.

ME/NC/PA/SC: $63,440 – $95,160
IL/MA/MD: $72,880 – $109,320
