Engineering & Maintenance Technician II

Location:

CPG Manufacturing facility near Salisbury, NC. 4‑day work week, 10‑hour days Monday through Thursday.

$34.00/hr – $40.00/hr

The Maintenance / Engineering Technician works closely with the Maintenance Manager and Engineering Team to install, repair, and fabricate plant equipment, monitor plant equipment performance, and revise maintenance programs & schedules.

• Operate basic repair and maintenance equipment.
• Monitor the performance of manufacturing and packaging equipment and take corrective actions, such as repairs.
• Promptly bring to the attention of the Maintenance Manager or VP any problems beyond your skill set.
• Assist as necessary with independent repair and maintenance contractors.
• Assist with equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and installations.
• Monitor and perform basic repairs and maintenance on manufacturing, warehousing, and office facilities.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), standard operating procedures, and legal regulations.

• High School Diploma or Trade School Certification (preferred).
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in food, beverage, personal care products, or consumer packaged goods.
• Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot simple electrical wiring problems.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturing equipment and packaging equipment.
• Ability to assist with equipment installation.
