Whether you spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, you’ll receive training and support from your team to excel in your role.

• Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold our safety culture
• Perform repair work using hand tools, power tools and precision tools at various heights or adverse conditions
• Perform building maintenance as required
• Purchase supplies and parts for repair, track purchase requisitions when necessary
• Be willing and able to cross‑train as required
• Attend extensive training regarding applicable equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping, keep equipment and work area clean, maintain tools in good working condition
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance; use computer systems for documentation, time entry, notifications and work orders
• Repair and maintain shop machinery and mechanical equipment (overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, welders)
• Work with other technicians on job orders and troubleshooting

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Welding skills preferred
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals; written communication skills
• Mechanical and electrical orientation with experience in both areas
• Experience servicing and repairing industrial equipment
• Adherence to OSHA, EPA and company safety policies
• Minimum four years of experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Strong work ethic and focus on safety
• Specific knowledge of hydraulics a plus
• Team player in fast‑paced environment, attention to detail, root‑cause analysis
• Proficient with hand, power and precision tools for repair and maintenance
• Ability to work rotating shifts; overtime required as business demands
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and work outside in all weather conditions

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
