Responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of products by performing laboratory testing and analysis according to established protocols and standards. Collaborates with production teams to uphold compliance with quality regulations and identify areas for improvement. Maintains accurate records and contributes to continuous quality assurance initiatives.
Core & Essential Functions- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with established specifications and standards.
- Records and interprets test data accurately, documenting results in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Prepares and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, cleanliness, and proper functionality.
- Monitors production processes through routine sampling and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential deviations.
- Investigates and reports non‑conformance issues, collaborating with relevant teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.
- Assists in the creation, review, and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance documentation.
- Performs environmental monitoring of the lab and production areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
- Conducts quality audits and supports internal and external inspection activities.
- Communicates findings and quality concerns promptly to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Manages inventory of laboratory supplies, ensuring availability and proper storage of materials.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred.
- Ability to read specifications, schematics and manuals.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co‑workers.
