Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the Asset Protection function for support offices and other facilities within assigned geographic area of responsibility. Implement physical security guidelines to ensure facilities are considered a safe and secure environment for all associates and visitors. Conduct investigations into suspected or actual losses.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities
  • Implements and evaluates current and future Asset Protection strategies at Support offices and other facilities within assigned geographic area for optimum efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of associate safety and physical security. Be present at facilities to ensure strategies are being followed per policy. Continuously analyze process and procedure, submit recommendations to management and implement changes.
  • On-call 24/7 for emergency issues.
  • Work closely with third party security services to provide direction and training to ensure their maximum effectiveness.
  • Coordinates security for any special events.
  • Analyze and evaluate corporate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops and oversees protection systems in existing, new, relocation, and remodel projects.
  • Interfaces with multiple internal and external partners including individuals in Asset Protection, Construction, Facilities, General Contractors and inspection and regulatory officials.
  • Coordinates with internal Construction, General Contractors, and solution providers to establish clear project objectives, priorities, schedules and timelines, and resource requirements for system installs and maintenance.
  • Assess and approves vendor proposals, execution, and invoicing. Includes on site validation, as needed.
  • Conducts training of facilities and security personnel and other personnel in the use of protection system user portals and clients.
  • Participates in the analysis and design of business processes and systems.
  • Troubleshoots situations and determines appropriate course of action to resolve issues related to the installation, maintenance, and modification of protection systems. Escalates issues to management when necessary.
  • Interfaces with inspection and regulatory officials as needed.
  • Implement security systems installations, upgrades and repairs, engage external service providers to schedule and oversee work, coordinate with internal departments regarding service and project scheduling, respond to related questions.
  • Utilize and administer various software systems to monitor security, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, engage internal IT resources and external vendors as required and ensure resolution.
  • Respond to emergencies and other critical incidents, ensure adherence to documented security program, applicable regulations, and departmental and corporate policies and procedures, serves on department on-call/after-hour rotation.
  • Troubleshoot system installations in a such a manner as to identify issues and to apply the most effective and efficient resolution consistent with company installation standards; identify and repair physical security systems as required to ensure operability and compliance with any applicable building code.
  • Parter with safety department to provide oversight of emergency management, response and contingency planning for medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, intrusion alarms and other disasters.
  • Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols to appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree.
  • Loss Prevention Certified (LPC) designation preferred.
  • 2-4 years' Asset Protection experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel.
  • Strong computer abilities in order to access various security systems and reports.
  • Strong working knowledge of security systems to include video surveillance, alarm systems and access control systems.
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management.
  • Ability to walk through the facility on an ongoing basis, accessing all areas of the building to include basement, roofs and mechanical rooms.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
