As a Security Guard - Armed Government Facility in Salisbury, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying identification and authorizations as required.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and requirements as needed by the location.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
