Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform work efficiently and accurately per repair order, following standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts if under warranty or requested by customer.
• Examine vehicles for safety or service work needed.
• Notify supervisor of additional work or issues.
• Document all work performed and recommended.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs.
• Stay updated with manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions.
• Keep customers' vehicles clean and notify of any changes.
• Maintain shop area neat and tools in good condition.
• Comply with regulations like hazardous waste disposal and OSHA.
• Operate tools safely and report safety issues immediately.
• Perform all duties in a safe and alert manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or vocational/technical training preferred; relevant experience in medium/heavy diesel maintenance acceptable.
• Valid license, clean driving record, pass background check, DOT physical, and ability test. CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Physical abilities: standing, walking, sitting, bending, feeling, grasping, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting over 50 lbs.

Salary: $15-$45 per hour
