Family Crisis Council (FCC) is seeking to hire a part-time director for our Special Victims Program, with the potential to become full-time status.
Position Summary:
The primary function of the Special Victims Program Director (SVPD) is to implement, manage and promote the sexual assault (SA) and Human Trafficking (HT) programs of the agency. The SVPD will develop and manage prevention programs and activities for SA and HT victims and other areas of interpersonal violence and victim needs. The SVPD will facilitate a weekly SA group for community clients.
Also, implement SA, DV and HT awareness and prevention presentations and workshops to increase the understanding of what constitutes SA, DV, HT, cross victimization to reinforce that it is a crime, to spread the awareness about resources available to victims, and to train groups of professionals on these issues. The SVPD will establish relationships with local colleges and communities in schools to educate in the prevention of SA, DV, and HT.
