ACA Trainee Accountant programme gives you the opportunity to build a rewarding career while gaining hands‑on experience from day one.
This is a
full‑time, permanent role with a starting salary of£25,000
, with your professional training and ACA qualification fully funded. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues, work with a diverse range of clients and develop the skills and confidence to progress your career.
As part of our
Professional Practices team
, you’ll work with law firms and other professional businesses, helping them understand and manage their finances.
You’ll gain experience across:
- Accounts preparation and financial reporting
- Audit, including statutory and client money audits
- Partnership, company and personal tax
- VAT and company secretarial work
- Management accounts
- Financial analysis, forecasts and projections
- Advising clients on their financial and commercial challenges
You won’t just be crunching numbers. You’ll build relationships with clients, understand how their businesses work and develop the commercial awareness needed to become a trusted adviser.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to take on more complex work and make a real impact.

Typically, you’ll qualify as a Chartered Accountant in around
three years
, giving you a highly respected professional qualification alongside valuable real‑world experience.
You don’t need to have studied accountancy or finance. We’re looking for graduates who are curious, motivated and keen to build a career.
You’ll enjoy this role if you:

- A2:2 degree or above in any subject
- Minimum
112 UCAS points
from three A Levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies and EPQ) - GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
- Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices when required
£25,000 starting salary
