Vehicle Diagnostic Technician Opportunity at Leading Salisbury Dealership
Our client, a well-established multi-franchise car dealer group operating across Southwest England, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join their respected Salisbury dealership. - Carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Support and mentor the workshop team, sharing technical expertise to resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles leave the workshop in optimal condition and perform at their best.
- Maintain safety standards, quality control, and overall workshop performance.
- Contribute to the ongoing training and development of team members.
- Support workshop efficiency through effective diagnosis, repairs, and technical advice.
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician, with a strong track record in diagnostics and complex repairs.
- Strong technical knowledge, ideally at a Master Vehicle Technician level.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Motivated, committed, and able to produce high‑quality work in a busy dealership environment.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience working with premium cars or holding an active MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30/5:00 pm (depending on lunch break preferences).
- One in three Saturdays, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
