42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm (with breaks)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
Ensure all work adheres to quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and vehicle performance
Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members and management
Collaborate with colleagues to meet team targets and uphold dealership standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Ideally, 1-2 years of technical experience post-qualification within a franchise-approved dealership (not essential but preferred)
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Committed, motivated, and a team player
Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced, stringent dealer environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and aim to meet or exceed targets
