VIVO is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Serco and Equans, delivering infrastructure, asset and facilities management services across the UK Defence sector. Following the award of a new seven-year contract to deliver repairs, maintenance and projects across DSTL establishments, we are growing our team and looking for an Assurance Coordinator to play a key role in supporting technical services and operational delivery.
Aboutthe role
As an Assurance Coordinator, you will support the delivery of a robust assurance and compliance framework, helping to ensure contractual obligations, statutory requirements and internal standards are consistently met, monitored and evidenced.
You will work closely with technical compliance leads, operational teams, contractors and key customer stakeholders to coordinate assurance activities and ensure important actions are followed through to completion.
A key part of the role will involve coordinating inspections, certifications, audit findings and compliance documentation, ensuring remedial actions are accurately recorded, tracked and closed within the required timescales. You will maintain detailed assurance and compliance records across CAFM and other business systems, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and readily auditable.
You will also coordinate contractor activities, including arranging maintenance and construction works, agreeing access requirements and liaising with building custodians and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered smoothly. Your ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively will be essential as you interact with specialist suppliers, operational teams, Facilities Managers, Built Estate Managers, Senior Authorised Persons and the Dstl customer.
The role will also provide support for internal and external audits, JSP 375 Safe Systems of Work, technical documentation and Common Data Environment requirements. You will help identify compliance risks, trends and opportunities for improvement, supporting corrective and preventative actions and helping to drive continuous improvement across the service.
