Horizon Care and Education offer an opportunity for a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our team.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce qualification and a full UK driving licence.
About the role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in various daily aspects within our homes, including:
- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships and learn new skills.
- Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
- Conducting supervisions for staff members.
- Managing the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager.
- Effectively leading shifts, directing and supporting colleagues.
- Managing health and safety processes, including implementation and monitoring of risk assessments.
- Supporting the induction of colleagues into the home.
- Being responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people.
