Location:
Salisbury
Salary: £26-30,000 DOE
An established, design-focused architectural practice in Salisbury is looking for a talented and motivated Architectural Technician to join its friendly, supportive studio. The practice delivers high-quality bespoke residential and commercial projects and places a strong emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration, and thoughtful design at every stage.

Key responsibilities:
Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and construction packages
Prepare planning, building control, and tender documentation
Manage technical details, schedules, and specifications
Coordinate with consultants, including structural and MEP engineers
Support project delivery through construction, including site visits
Respond to technical queries from contractors and consultants
Ensure drawings comply with UK Building Regulations and standards
Contribute to internal design and technical reviews
Research construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing, and regulations
Experience preparing technical drawing packages for planning and construction
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Collaborative, proactive approach with strong communication skills
Previous experience within a UK architectural practice is essential
