Location:
Salisbury
Salary: £26-30,000 DOE
An established, design-led architectural practice based in Salisbury is seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to join its friendly and supportive studio. The practice delivers high-quality bespoke residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on technical excellence, collaboration, and thoughtful design throughout every stage of a project.

Key Responsibilities:
Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and construction packages
Prepare planning, building control, and tender documentation
Manage technical details, schedules, and specifications
Coordinate with consultants, including structural and MEP engineers
Support project delivery on-site, including site visits and inspections
Respond to technical queries from contractors and consultants
Ensure all drawings comply with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
Participate in internal design and technical reviews
Research construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Good understanding of UK construction methods, detailing, and regulations
Experience producing technical drawing packages for planning and construction
Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
Previous experience in a UK architectural practice is essential
