Overview
Education and length of practice are considered through a formal pay-setting process to determine the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay). The Chief of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine provides leadership and oversight for the section's clinical programs, research initiatives, and educational activities. This role encompasses administrative authority, supervision of section staff, quality assurance, and representation of the Medicine Service.
