The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students throughout the summer term. Beginning after the Easter break, this role involves delivering engaging PE lessons that motivate students, promote physical wellbeing and help them develop skills across a range of sports.
The successful candidate will play an important role in contributing to the school’s strong culture of ambition, inclusion and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons across KS3 & KS4 in line with the national curriculum
Encourage participation, confidence and progress in a variety of physical activities
Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback
Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive environment during all activities
Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and, where possible, extracurricular enrichment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline
Experience teaching PE at KS3/KS4 level
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire young people
Excellent communication and organisational skills
