About
Are you a university graduate interested in mental health and neurodiversity, and looking to build a career as an Educational Psychologist? A special educational needs (SEN) school in Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic graduate to join as a Learning Support Assistant, either immediately or in September 2026.
Responsibilities- Support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, physical disabilities and emotional and behavioural needs.
- Help maintain each child’s progress, meet milestones and assist the classroom teacher in creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Provide social and emotional support and encourage social development among pupils.
- Implement individualised support plans and learning strategies to enable every child to reach their full potential.
- Recent university graduate.
- Passion for special educational needs, mental health, and inclusive education.
- Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
Experience gained will prepare you for future training to become an Educational Psychologist, Child Psychologist, or Speech and Language Therapist, with the school’s support.
Salary & Working Hours£90 to £100 per day.
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Salisbury, United Kingdom.
Start DateAs soon as possible or September 2026.
