What You’ll Do
• Teach and assess learners across a range of Automotive and Engineering programmes, supporting learners from Level 1 through to Level 3 qualifications
• Deliver engaging, hands-on, workshop-based sessions covering vehicle systems, maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, and repair techniques
• Support learners to achieve qualifications and progress into employment, apprenticeships, or higher education in automotive engineering or related industries
• Use practical and industry-relevant approaches, including live workshop demonstrations, real vehicle diagnostics, and problem-based learning
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, safeguarding, professionalism, and workshop compliance
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and personal development
• Contribute to curriculum development and help create an inspiring, safe, and industry-aligned learning einvironment.
What You’ll Bring
• A relevant qualification in Automotive, Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, Motor Vehicle Technology, Engineering, or a related subject (Level 3 or above)
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to inspire learners through practical, hands-on teaching
• Industry experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, servicing, MOT testing, dealership work, or a related motor trade environment
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
• A Level 4 teaching qualification or above is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work.
