About the RoleA well‑regarded secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an English Teacher to join them from January until the Easter break. You will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that support students’ literacy, analytical skills, and enjoyment of literature.

Planning and resources will be provided, allowing you to focus on high‑quality teaching and effective classroom delivery. The school welcomes both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas‑trained teachers with experience of the UK curriculum.

About the School This Ofsted‑rated “Good” school based in Salisbury has a close‑knit community of around 650 students aged 11–16. It offers a supportive, inclusive environment with a committed English department, strong leadership, and good facilities. Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Passionate about English and able to inspire students

Experience teaching KS3 and KS4A flexible, team‑focused approach
