OverviewAre you an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher ready for your next teaching opportunity? We are working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Salisbury that is looking to appoint a talented RE Teacher to join its thriving department from September.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering engaging and challenging lessons that encourage students to examine religious beliefs, moral issues, philosophy, and world views. You will create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, share ideas, and develop respect for different perspectives.
Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5, you will play a key role in helping students build analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills. Working alongside a supportive team of colleagues, you will contribute to a school culture that values academic achievement, personal development, and inclusive education.
What we are looking for- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
- A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
- The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
