Based at our Salisbury Campus, you'll join our dedicated team, supporting students with a range of additional needs including Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful difference, helping students develop the confidence, life skills, and independence they need for adulthood.
Working closely with the Skills for Life Lead Practitioner, you'll provide personalised support to named students, helping them access learning, college facilities, and opportunities within the local community.

Your role will empower students to develop the skills, resilience, and self-belief needed to make informed choices about their future and achieve their personal goals.

Salary:
£22,084 rising to £22,548 (Full time equivalent £25,304 - £25,835 per year)
Contract Type:
Permanent, Full-Time 37 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+2 weeks per year

What You'll Do
Build positive, supportive relationships that help students achieve their individual goals
Work alongside the Skills for Life Lead Practitioner to develop personalised learning and independence plans
Provide one-to-one and small group support to enable students to access learning and college life
Support students in developing essential life, social, communication, and independence skills
Assist students with transitions into college and throughout their learning journey
Contribute to annual reviews and monitor student progress against agreed outcomes
Encourage positive health and wellbeing, signposting students to appropriate college services where needed
Deliver targeted interventions that build resilience, confidence, and independence
Support students in accessing the local community and developing skills for life beyond education
Maintain accurate student records and contribute to effective communication within the wider support team
Assist with the use and reporting of specialist equipment and assistive technology where appropriate

English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent)
