Do you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant? Are you ready to take the next step in your career and gain a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification?
Teaching Personnel is excited to offer our Aspiring HLTA Programme – a fantastic opportunity for ambitious and dedicated Teaching Assistants looking to upskill and progress within education.
What’s involved?You will enrol with Teaching Personnel and Best Practice Network (BPN) and begin with a comprehensive induction. Over the course of almost a full academic year, you will work towards achieving your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a school setting.
Following this, you will move on to a 3-month fast-track HLTA qualification
, helping you reach the next level in your professional journey.

- In-school support from an experienced school-based mentor
- Practical experience in a classroom environment throughout your training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
