This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys practical learning and helping pupils develop creativity, technical skills and confidence.
The role:- Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons
- Develop pupils' design, problem-solving and practical skills
- Adapt teaching to support pupils with different learning needs
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe and organised practical learning environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong Design & Technology subject knowledge
- Effective classroom and workshop management
- High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- A collaborative approach and commitment to safeguarding
