Salary:
Up to 60000 per annum dependent on relevant experience

About the role

In the role of Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of projects on time within budget and in line with the stakeholder requirements and scope while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

As a key member of the Programmes team you will support the positive outcomes of projects from bid initial requirements capture/ scoping to project delivery and close out. Responsible for continuously monitoring the performance of allocated programmes and managing off‑track items.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on‑time within scope and budget and required quality levels.
  • Develop project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track/monitor/report progress.
  • Coordinate commercial and technical issues and requirements with the customer.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Integrate functional teams to align execution including design, manufacturing, operations and procurement.
  • Actively execute risk, issue and opportunity management to control and mitigate risk exposure and take advantage of opportunities.
  • Undertake any other activity required to ensure successful delivery of the programme.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Provide bid/proposal support/leadership as required.
  • Contribute to the improvement of company/project processes and procedures.
Health and Safety
  • Demonstrate daily commitment to health and safety in the workplace by ensuring tasks are performed safely.
  • Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to or observes in the correct manner.
  • When required or directed participate in any health and safety training.

Perform other project management related duties as required.

Essential Skills
  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management with a successful track record in setting up and executing complex projects to agreed schedule, budget and quality.
  • Ability to coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless project execution.
  • Competent in Microsoft Project and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
