Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer – Porton Down (SP4) – Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

From early project phases to operational deployment, you’ll help turn ideas into solutions that influence real-world outcomes.

• Define User and System Requirements and support the creation of Design Specifications.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (UML, SysML, Archi Mate) to turn concepts into operational solutions.
• Support testing, integration, and deployment of complex EW systems.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to real-world defence projects and evolving into a Subject Matter Expert.

• Systems Engineering & System Design Documentation
• Defence industry knowledge of EW systems
• Test and acceptance of integrated systems
• Full Engineering Delivery Lifecycle experience
• Requirements Management (DOORS, Enterprise Architect, etc.)

• Systems Modelling (UML/SysML)
• Coding experience (JavaScript or MATLAB/Simulink)
• Previous military experience in EW systems (operator, maintenance, support, or acquisition)
