B2 Licensed Engineer - Rotary Aviation
Location:
Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
An experienced B2 licensed aircraft engineer is required to join our engineering team at the aircraft testing and evaluation site in Salisbury, offering exposure to line and base maintenance activities across a varied rotary fleet and long‑term career prospects.
Required Licence & Type Ratings- Valid UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
- Type rating: AW109 or AW139.
The B2 Licensed Engineer will be responsible for the completion and certification of avionic and electrical maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Certification of maintenance within company authorisations.
- Carry out both line and base maintenance activities.
- Support off‑site maintenance tasks when required.
- Complete aircraft maintenance activities across avionic and electrical systems.
- Provide regular engineering updates to senior maintenance leadership.
- Supervise and support non‑certifying engineers and support staff.
- Ensure full compliance with CAA, EASA, and company regulatory standards.
- Manage maintenance activities effectively and safely.
- Work collaboratively across operational departments to support business continuity.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development requirements.
- Use Microsoft‑based systems and maintenance documentation platforms effectively.
- £75,000 - £80,000 salary.
