· Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
· Developing new processes and tooling/fixtures
· Creating 2D and 3D CAD/CAE (Solid Works) o Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA, DFMEA) o Controlo Tolerance Analysis/Simulationo Design of Experiments (Factorial DOE - full and fractional) and optimizationo Control Plano Project Planning, cross-function leader of teams involving internal and external stakeholder so Cellular manufacturing flow, pull, line balancing, standard work and time standard so Root Cause Analysis methodso Write Justification (ROI) for capital projectso Product/equipment Validation (i.e. IQOQPA, PPAP) o Quality Management Systems (QMS) / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) o Design and plan production pilot runso Molding (i.e. compression, transfer, injection) o Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Access and Visioo Proficient with Minitabo Understands bill of material (BOM) and shop routingo Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skillso Self-motivated, results orientated, and can work prioritize workload with minimal supervisiono Able to read and understand Engineering drawings (including GD&T) o Mechanical Measurement and Instrumentation skillso Measurement System Analysis (MSA) o Process Mapping methods (VSM, high/mid/low-level maps, swim-lane, SIPOC) o Capability Analysis (Cp/Cpk, DPMO, % Yield)

* Education:

** Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology is preferred.

* Qualifications:

* · Certification/Certificate in lean Manufacturing
· 10+ years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering
· 5+ years of new product development (NPD) in a team environment
· 5+ years applying SIX Sigma (DMAIC) tools
· 5+ years applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing environment
· 4+ years managing/supervising direct reports
· Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) experience is strongly desired but not required
