An advanced aerospace and autonomous systems organisation is looking for a UxS Technologist to support the development and integration of next-generation uncrewed and autonomous platforms.
This is a hands-on engineering and R&D role working across autonomy, avionics, systems engineering and emerging technologies. You’ll help bridge the gap between concept and operational capability, supporting the development of future UAS platforms in a fast-moving technical environment.
This will be in a new division within this organisation, working on platforms that will; help shape the future of the industry.
You’ll be involved in:- Researching and evaluating emerging UxS technologies
- Supporting systems integration and technical development activities
- Prototyping, experimental testing and engineering trials
- Working across autonomy, sensing and flight systems
- Supporting technical documentation, bids and innovation projects
- Background in UAS, robotics, avionics or autonomous systems
- Strong systems engineering or autonomy understanding
- Hands-on prototyping or experimental engineering experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple engineering disciplines and wants exposure to cutting-edge autonomous systems development.
