A UKAS accredited company is recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover new client sites. They are seeking someone with proven technical knowledge, who is signed off for the full range of asbestos surveys. Our client is well known within the industry, and have strong infrastructure to provide further training and development for hardworking individuals. Applicants must have proven experience across a diverse range of client sites, including: commercial, domestic and industrial.

Salaries on offer are competitive and usual benefits (overtime, company vehicle, fuel card, pension scheme and annual leave allowance).

You will be travelling across:
Salisbury, Eastleigh, Southampton, Andover, Verwood, Bournemouth, Southampton, Fareham, Portsmouth, Gosport, Winchester, Waterlooville, Poole, Dorchester, Warminster, Weymouth, New Milton, Tidworth, Yeovil, Shepton Mallett, Warminster, Trowbridge, Wells, Street, Basingstoke, Devizes, Thatcham.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Good experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
  • Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
  • Conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
  • Confident in communicating technical matters to clients
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confident using IT software
  • Interests in candidates with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP
Role
  • Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial, industrial and domestic contracts
  • Re-occupation surveys
  • Safely collecting ACM samples
  • Producing bespoke technical reports and schematic drawings
  • Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries
  • Maintaining high standards of service
  • Wearing correct PPE at all times
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
