Graduate Design Engineer
LocationSalisbury
Salary£26,000 – £30,000 (depends on experience)
Position OverviewGraduate Design Engineer required. Our client is a well‑established and growing manufacturer based in Salisbury. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their design & development team.
- Creating 3D modelling drawings for Jig & Tooling design
- Ensuring design work undertaken is feasible for manufacture
- Supporting prototype builds and DFM
- Conduct regular engineering reviews to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Liaising with suppliers of parts and tooling
- Producing cost estimates
- Degree qualified within an Engineering / Design related subject
- Based in a commutable distance of Salisbury
- Proficient with the use of CAD software such as Solidworks or Catia
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, metal pressing and robotics
- Salary £26,000 – £30,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday. Full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
